The National Weather Service has confirmed an EF1 tornado touched down in Cobb County Wednesday afternoon.
NWS teams are still out investigating other possible tornadoes, but completed their first survey in Cobb County. The tornado path was .75 miles long and 100 yards wide. Winds reached 100 mph.
The tornado touched down along Delta Court, crossed Six Flags Pkwy. and Mableton Pkwy. before hitting Discovery Blvd.
The path of that tornado stayed within Cobb County and ripped apart the corner of a warehouse, flipped a tractor trailer, snapped poles and uprooted or snapped several trees.

Surveillance cameras near the storm captured the high winds and the moment they knocked over a tree.

Three tornadoes were confirmed by radar on Wednesday, according to the NWS. Survey teams are on the ground today at all of those locations.
