DULUTH, Ga.-- A small fire forced staff and customers to evacuate a popular chain restaurant Saturday night.

Firefighters were called to the T.G.I Fridays on Pleasant Hill Road NW after someone reported smoke in the women's bathroom.

According to officials, the smoke was coming from a fire that was burning in the wall. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the exterior wall. There was no damage to the inside of the restaurant.

About 100 people were outside and safe when the fire trucks arrived. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. The restaurant will remain closed for the night.
