Husband and wife busted for meth trafficking

William and Angela Fain were arrested for trafficking methamphetamine between Franklin, Hart and Elbert counties. 

A husband and wife are in jail for allegedly trafficking methamphetamine across several Georgia counties.

Franklin County Sheriff's Office and the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO) received tips from Hart County Sheriff's Office and the Elbert County Sheriff's Office that William Jerry Fein was trafficking methamphetamine out of Franklin, Hart and Elbert counties.

Franklin County officers, along with officers from the Georgia Department of Community Supervision, searched Fain's home located on Meadow Brook Drive in Royston, Ga.

Deputies found 210 grams of methamphetamine, two digital scales with meth residue and a meth pipe in the bathroom.

The Department of Family and Children's Services was also contacted regarding a six-year-old who was in the residence.

The street value of the drugs equaled $23,100.

Fain, 53, and his wife, Angela Terri Fain, 46, were charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession and use of drug related objects. Both were transported to the Franklin Co. Detention Center.
