LILBURN, Ga. -- Gwinnett County Police said they've found a missing woman not seen since last Thursday.

Police said 28-year-old Jaharatul Choudhury was last seen at her residence outside of Lilburn. Investigators had asked for the public's help in trying to find her, and thanks to the sharp eyes of a passerby they did.

According to a spokesperson with the Gwinnett County Police Department, someone called 911 around 8:30 Monday informing officials that he thought he spotted a missing woman near the intersection of stone Mountain Highway near Lake Lucerne Road.

Officers went out to the area and were able to find her in the parking lot of a Popeye's off Stone Mountain Highway. Investigators said she was in good health, but had no clear explanation as to where she had been for the past several days.

Gwinnett County Fire officials examined Jaharatul and began the process of reuniting her with her family.

Police said they appreciated the community's help "for actively trying to find Jaharatul by sharing our message among family, firends, neighbors and social media."
