14-year-old still missing after 4 months

Artreveon Brown's mother said she became worried about her son's disappearance after her son's friend came to her home, searching for him.

Police are searching for a 14-year-old boy who has been missing for more than four months.

On Monday, October 9, the mother of Artreveon Brown reported him missing to Atlanta Police. She said he'd been missing since October 4 but said he was a frequent runaway. She also said that he was often at his friend's house whenever he disappeared from home and then would return home.

His mother stated she became worried about her son's disappearance after a friend of his came to her home, searching for Brown.

She also told police that some other children from her neighborhood allegedly saw him riding around in a stolen vehicle a few days prior to her reporting him missing.

Ms. Brown also stated that she had called the juvenile facilities in her surrounding area but she still could not locate her son.

Atreveon, also known as 'Tre', is 5'2", weighs 110 lbs., has black hair, dark brown eyes and was last seen on Eisenhower Circle in southeast Atlanta.

Police are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to please contact Atlanta PD.
