Police seek woman missing from west Atlanta

Atlanta police are asking for the public's help finding a woman who apparently went missing Thursday evening.

ATLANTA -- Atlanta police are asking for the public's help finding a woman who apparently went missing Thursday evening.

A family member said Shonta Campbell went missing around 8 p.m., from the 100 block of Hemphill School Road NW.

Campbell is described as a 27-year-old black female who is about 5'7 and 120 lbs. She has short brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing black capri pants with a pink stripe and a black shirt when she was last seen.

Anyone with information on her location is asked to call the Atlanta Police Department's homicide-adult missing persons unit at (404) 546-4235.
