'We just want answers': Atlanta-based rapper Bambino Gold, cousin missing

Edward Reeves, an Atlanta-based rapper who goes by the stage name Bambino Gold, and cousin and promoter Kendrick Stokes were officially reported missing on Tuesday, Nov. 7, after family lost contact with the two late Sunday night.

A Montgomery family is calling on the public's help to track down two cousins and musician colleagues who were reported missing last week.

Edward Reeves, an Atlanta-based rapper who goes by the stage name Bambino Gold, and cousin and promoter Kendrick Stokes were officially reported missing on Tuesday, Nov. 7, after family lost contact with the two on Nov. 6.

They were last seen on Sunday, Nov. 5, driving a white 2016 Honda CRV, according to Montgomery police. The CRV had a Georgia tag.

Stokes' sister Audrienna Stokes said her brother, who lives in Atlanta, was in town Nov. 4 for a work appearance at Sky Bar.

On Nov. 5, Kendrick Stokes and Reeves both stopped by Stokes' brother's house and were also seen at the Alabama State Fair.

Audrienna Stokes said she last spoke to her brother on Nov. 1, but the two usually communicated daily through social media. The tight-knit Stokes family is reeling, she said.

"Half of us are not even in reality, we're just here," Audrienna Stokes said Monday. "Kendrick is the oldest of six, and we are a close family. That's my big brother. My heart is breaking with every word."

Reeves is 29 and a father of one. Kendrick Stokes, who also goes by Skooly, is 30.

"What I want every one to know about Kendrick is that he is loved," Audrienna Stokes said. "How could you not love and miss him?"

Audrienna Stokes asks anyone with information on the men and their whereabouts to contact the family, Montgomery police or CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP.

"We just want answers," she said. "Someone knows something. No one just vanish[es] into thin air. The worst part about going through all this is not knowing."
