LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Due to high demand for early voting in Gwinnett County, officials have added two additional voting locations.

Early voting lines had been noticeably longer, with wait times reaching several hours. Now, officials say these new locations will ensure residents have the opportunity to vote early.

Voters can still cast their ballots at the main elections office, located at 455 Grayson Highway in Lawrenceville.

In addition, the following early voting sites opened Monday, Oct. 24:

  • Lenora Park Activity Room at 4515 Lenora Church Road in Snellville
  • George Pierce Park Community Recreation Center at 55 Buford Highway in Suwanee

Polls at all three locations will be open Monday through Friday, Oct. 23 through Oct. 28 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
