Williams' bond was denied in her first court appearance on October 16, 2017. The 24-year-old mother put her two toddlers inside the oven on Friday night, October 13.

When officers arrived to the residence, they found the two toddlers' bodies and a third three-year-old boy who was unharmed.

Warrants revealed that Williams had put her two children inside the oven and turned it on. Williams originally called 911 and told police that she had left her children with a family member and when she returned home, both of her boys were dead.

Preliminary investigations revealed that police did not believe the mother's initial story.
