ATLANTA. Ga. — A metro Atlanta high school student is blowing people's minds after he aced two major standardized test.
North Atlanta High school student Richard Hill says he was shocked when he found out he scored perfectly on both the ACT and Calculus AB exams.
Hill scored a perfect score of a 36 on the ACT's during his junior year, and got every question right on the Calculus AB exam. Nearly 317,000 students took the test. Hill was one of six to received a perfect score.
When asked what's his secret to success, Hill explained, "Preparation and understanding the material." Richard says it's not about memorization but understanding the material.
The 18-year-old is still undecided on where he will attend college, but he will be majoring in the math field.
