Hurricane Otto made landfall as a category 2 storm Thursday along the eastern coast of Nicaragua. The storm had 105mph winds as it hit the coast. Nicaragua and northern Costa Rica have a continued threat of flooding and strong winds. The storm is weakening as it encounters land. It is forecast to loose hurricane strength and maintain tropical storm status as it heads out in to the Pacific.

This storm will stay well to the south of the United States. It won't bring us any rain relief.
