You know how if you're ever asking for directions in Cobb Co., everyone almost always starts with, "When you see the Big Chicken..." or "Take a left at the Big Chicken..."

Well, the famous KFC restaurant is finally reopening after being closed for renovations.

The new and improved fast-food digs features a more modern setting, but don't worry, the 'Big Chicken' is still very much the same.

It's still huge and it still has its all-too-famous rotating eye and chomping beak.

Renovations started back in January of this year and it's finally reopening today, May 11. The entire project cost $2 million.
