MARIETTA, Ga. -- A woman has been arrested in a 2001 murder, Marietta police said.

According to the Marietta Police Department, Angel Renee Harris, 34, is facing charges in the death of 44-year-old Anthony Roberts.

Roberts was found dead of a single gunshot wound in his bed on August 3, 2001.

According to police, Harris' fingerprint was found at the scene. On Tuesday, Harris agreed to an interview with police.

Initially Harris denied knowing Roberts, but police said she later admitted that she shot him. She claimed that she removed the clip from the gun, not thinking that it was loaded. She then refused to provide any additional details.

Police obtained a warrant for Harris' arrest.
