President Donald Trump will attend Monday's national college football championship game between UGA and Alabama.
Atlanta police confirmed to 11Alive that they have been notified the president will attend, and are working with the U.S. Secret Service to prepare for the event.
The game will be held at the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
NBC News has confirmed, via First Lady Melania Trump's office, that she will not be in Atlanta on Monday.
According to NBC, President Trump will be in Nashville earlier in the day for a fundraiser for American farmers.
