ATLANTA - Georgia State Patrol, along with other agencies, were involved in a high speed chase that ended in several arrests.

At 2:34 a.m. on Friday, a GSP officer saw a white BMW speeding down I-85 SB, just north of the connector, and attempted to perform a traffic stop.

The car took off and reached speeds of up to 107 mph. The suspect car attempted to allude the officer and exited on 17th Street and traveled westbound on Northside Drive.

The pursuit continued as the suspect vehicle traveled south on Northside Dr.

The suspect driver attempted to make a U-turn on McDaniel Drive but was unsuccessful and ran into a utility pole.

According to police, the impact caused little damage.

Four suspects attempted to flee on foot and with the joint efforts of multiple agencies, three of the four suspects were apprehended.

According to Sgt. 1st Class John Cronin with GSP, at least one of the suspects is a juvenile.

Upon further investigation, officers found masks, gloves, hats and crow bars inside the vehicle.
