STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. -- DeKalb police confirm that three people have been shot in DeKalb County not far from Stone Mountain.

The shooting happened in the 2500 block of Rock Shadow Court just south of Stone Mountain state park and was allegedly reported by someone inside the home.

That's where authorities arrived to find three people shot according to DeKalb Police Lt. Shane Stanfield. Of those three, two were already dead. The third person was taken to Grady for treatment and is listed as stable. No names have been released and authorities so not believe they are looking for any additional suspects.

Authorities believe there may have been some form of gambling happening in the garage of the home before the shooting.

Officers are now interviewing witnesses and crime scene techs are searching for evidence.
