ATLANTA – A woman from Connecticut was killed overnight outside a popular Midtown restaurant early Saturday morning.

Ebony McCrae-Curley, 33, was pinned between vehicles after a valet mistakenly accelerated, instead of braking, a car that he was driving at Einstein's.

Her exact cause of death is still pending, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner.

Six others were injured, according to police, who are calling this an accident.

Witnesses told police and 11Alive that they were in the parking lot waiting for their vehicles when the incident happened.

“It was horrific,” said Shawn Williams, one of the victims. “The car basically mauled us. I mean, it was by accident but he mauled us.

“We come out from having a great time and it was a mistake but someone lost their life.”

The valet's name has not been released.
