UNION CITY, Ga. -- Union City firefighters worked to rescue a woman from her van after a tree fell on it.
Lt. Dennis Moore said a woman drove through a barricade and struck a tree, trapping her van under tree. This happened Tuesday morning at Buffington and Morgan Roads in South Fulton County.
Firefighters used a chainsaw to remove tree and help her out of the van. They were also able to retrieve her wheelchair out of the vehicle.
The woman was not injured.
