FULTON COUNTY, Ga. -- An EF-0 tornado touched down in Fulton County on Monday, the National Weather Service confirmed.

According to the NWS, the tornado first touched down just north of South Fulton Parkway on Campbellton Redwine Road. It then headed east toward Cochran Mill Park.

There were no injuries reported, but more than 100 trees were damaged by the tornado.

The NWS previously said that up to 20 tornadoes had struck parts of the state during Monday's storms.  Much of the damage was reported in Carrollton, where an EF-1 tornado has already been confirmed by officials.

More strong storms returned to the area on Wednesday, although there have no confirmed tornado reports. There were also no injuries reported in those storms.

Not all of the rumbles felt in Georgia on Wednesday came from sky. An earthquake measuring 2.4 on the Richter Scale was registered near Sparta, Ga.
