Delta Community Credit Union - A Company That Cares

Delta Community Credit Union- A Company That Cares
Best Places To Work

Delta Community Credit Union

In 2015, Delta Community celebrates its 75th anniversary. Just as its founders envisioned, Delta Community is in business today to help people get more out of their finances, with a focus on offering trusted advice and better value on the financial services they use every day.

To help people get more out of their finances, Delta Community chooses to operate as a not-for-profit business. Earnings are returned to members, rather than outside investors, in the form of lower rates on loans, low (or no) fees, high capital reserves and more.

Delta Community's commitment to offer trusted advice ensures members' needs are always first. Delta Community professionals take pride in helping members make smart decisions that fit each unique situation.

Delta Community consistently provides better value to members through competitive pricing, personal service, convenience, and the financial strength to meet complex personal and commercial loan needs. Even with the stability associated with being Georgia's largest credit union, members love the personal attention and products such as free checking and free Online Bill Pay.

Like a bank, Delta Community is federally insured and provides products such as home loans, auto loans, and retirement and investment products and services. Unlike a bank, Delta Community is owned by its members and profits are returned to them. As its founding members envisioned in 1940, Delta Community remains committed to building wealth for its members rather than outside investors.

Membership at Delta Community is open to residents of 11 metro Atlanta counties and employees of more than 140 businesses such as Chick-fil-A, Delta Air Lines, RaceTrac and UPS.

Community Involved

Delta Community is committed to improving the lives of its members, and the neighborhoods where they live through a diverse array of community programs. Employees consistently embrace opportunities to give back to the communities where they live and work. As an integral part of those communities, the Credit Union understands the benefit of keeping families and neighborhoods strong. By actively partnering with local chambers of commerce, schools and charitable organizations, Delta Community does its part to ensure these areas remain great places to work, live and raise families. At the heart of this philosophy is the knowledge that when communities thrive, Delta Community members thrive – and thus the company thrives.

Philanthropic Fund

In 2015, Delta Community's Philanthropic Fund alone will support 30 organizations whose purpose is to help families manage their household finances and improve the well-being of young people, including educational programs focused on science, technology, engineering and math (S.T.E.M.), fiscal management and youth development.

In addition to Philanthropic Fund, Delta Community invests in Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Children's Miracle Network, local non-profit groups and organizations and provides an annual Scholarship Program.

In addition to significant financial investment, Delta Community employees provide countless volunteer hours to support organizations that are in alignment with the credit union's mission to support physical and financial health.

Quarterlife

While established members may have their eye on long-term plans, many Delta Community members are just starting out in life. The Delta Community Quarterlife website is dedicated to providing young adults with the tools and trusted advice they need. Quarterlife offers the same not-for-profit philosophy as Delta Community, along with products and services, such as the Scholarship Program, tailored specifically for people between 18 and 25 years old. These financial tools can help young adults through each stage of life – from high school to college, a first job and even starting a family.
