A photographer captured stunning footage of the 5,714-acre wildfire near Lake Lure, N.C.
Photographer Cathy Anderson released a time-lapse YouTube video of the fire on Sunday.
Anderson thanked the U.S. Forest Service, firefighters and emergency agencies who have helped fight the blazes in the video’s description.
The Party Rock Fire near Lake Lure is about 5,714 acres and 19 percent contained as of Wednesday night, according to North Carolina Forest Services.

Filmmakers have used Lake Lure as a location for movies such as “Thunder Road,” “Dirty Dancing” and “The Last of the Mohicans.”
