DECATUR, Ga. -- Police are searching for clues after a man was found dead inside a Decatur home Tuesday night.
According to Lt. Shane Stanfield with the DeKalb Police Department, officers went to a home in the 3800 block of Northstrand Drive after getting a call requesting a welfare check from concerned coworkers of the victims. Investigators said he had not shown up for work Tuesday and they got worried about his wellbeing.
When officers arrived to the home, they found the unidentified man dead inside.
Right now, all investigators will say is that the death is suspicious, and they are still working out how exactly the man died.
Stanfield said the medical examiner was on scene and would determine a cause of death.
At this time, police don't have any suspects and are asking anyone with information is asked to call DeKalb Homicide detectives.
