ATLANTA – Georgia’s 6th district congressional hopefuls have picked up some more endorsements.

On Saturday, the Georgia Federation of Democratic Women are holding an event to endorse Jon Ossoff, who finished first last month in the special election to replace Tom Price, now President Donald Trump’s secretary for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

The Saturday announcement is being held at Ossoff’s Marietta campaign office.

Ossoff’s opponent, Republican Karen Handel, also has picked up the endorsement of Cobb County commission chairman Mike Boyce.

East Cobb County Commissioners Bob Ott and JoAnn Burell have also endorsed Handel.
