The 43rd president of the United States did not vote for republican nominee Donald Trump nor democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

Actually, George W. Bush didn't vote for anyone on the ballot to be the next president, according to a spokesperson for the Bush family who spoke with 11Alive news partner USA TODAY.

The spokesperson said Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush voted "None of the Above" for president.

They did vote Republican on the rest of the ticket, according to the spokesperson.

Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh had reported earlier in the day that Bush had voted for Clinton. He later was forced to run a correction after the family's spokesperson denied his report.

If Bush did not, in fact, vote for Trump like his spokesperson claims, then no living former president voted for the republican nominee.
