FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) - There have been at least one fight and at least one arrest before a speech by conservative commentator Milo Yiannopoulos at a California college.

Dozens of mostly peaceful protesters gathered before the speech Tuesday night at California State University, Fullerton.

One woman began fighting with another, and one other person was pulled from the crowd and arrested by police as tensions grew.

One civilian set off pepper spray in the crowd, but there were no reports of injuries.

Appearances by Yiannopoulos at other events in California have led to violence, and many previously planned speeches have been canceled.
