Authorities believe the suspects got into an argument with the victim, which then led to the shooting. The brothers turned themselves in on Sunday.
The two face a number of counts, including participation in criminal street gang activity, malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by an individual under the age of 18 years old.
The next court appearance for the McDaniel brothers will be December 1.
