Several hundred people were expected to participate in "The Chase" , a 5K/1M benefit run/walk.

"The support has been a rock," Maddox said. "You go back and forth with a whirlwind of emotions and having a baby, and having our other son and having to deal with everything. But staying focused and seeing all these charity events...just seeing everybody remember my amazing husband is what we need."
