FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Atlanta Falcons signed wide receiver Reggie Davis out of rookie mini camp, the team announced on Sunday.

Davis was a tryout at the three-day camp at the team's headquarters. He graduated from the University of Georgia. Davis is one of several former Georgia players on the roster, including fellow rookies Quincy Mauger and Garrett Scantling, who ran track and field at Georgia.

"We got some UGA guys," Dan Quinn said Friday at the team's camp. "It kind of shows the hotbed of where we're at as far as UGA goes."

Davis, 6-0, 170 pounds, caught nine passes for 111 yards in his senior season.

The Falcons also signed defensive lineman Taniela Tupou on Sunday. Tupou signed with the Seattle Seahawks after the 2016 NFL Draft. He played in one game last season.
