ATLANTA – The Atlanta Falcons announced that they have extended general manager Thomas Dimitroff's contract for three years, through 2019.

In his nine years with the Falcons, Dimitroff’s rosters have posted an 80-57 record – the eighth best record in the NFL during that time period, according to the Falcons' website.

The Falcons' are 6-3, and will play the Philadelphia Eagles in Philadelphia on Nov. 13. The Falcons' next home game is in the Georgia Dome against the Arizona Cardinals on Nov. 27.
