E.J. Montgomery is the fifth player from Wheeler high school selected to play in the McDonald's All-American game.
"It's a great honor to make it to the McDonald's All-American game," Montgomery said. "All of the hard work I've put in and my parents traveling, it's just a good honor."
Montgomery is one of the top prospects in the country and, after de-committing from Auburn University, he has yet to decide which college he will attend. He is looking to narrow his list of 11 schools down soon.
The McDonalds All-American game will be played on March 28. Montgomery will play for the East team.
