Corky Kell Classic: Coverage plan for Saturday's 5-game extravaganza

The nine-game slate will cover three different venues–Barron Stadium in Rome, Georgia State Stadium, Mercedes-Benz Stadium–and consume roughly 27 hours of live TV coverage.

ATLANTA – The Georgia high school football season launches with a flurry of first-rate matchups in mid-August, and the 11Alive networks will be there from the first whistle to final gun.

The Corky Kell Classic, which began in 1992, opens Thursday, Aug. 16 and closes at Mercedes-Benz Stadium two days later.

All told, the nine-game slate will cover three different venues–Barron Stadium in Rome (Thursday), Georgia State Stadium (Friday) and Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Saturday)--and consume roughly 27 hours of live TV coverage.
