Baker Mayfield revealed one of the messages Georgia Bulldogs fans sent him after they got a hold of his cellphone number.

Mayfield, the quarterback of the Oklahoma Sooners, was on the set of College Gameday on Saturday. Mayfied and the Sooners will face Georgia in the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day and will play for a spot in the national championship.

Soon after the match-up was revealed, Mayfield's number was shared on social media, and he said Bulldogs fans sent him some not so nice messages. Some of them were about his arrest earlier this year and Georgia linebacker Roquan Smith.

"I met Roquan Smith, he's a nice guy, (but a lot of it) was about Roquan Smith hitting me harder than the Fayetteville police did," Smith said.

Mayfield was arrested earlier in 2017 in Arkansas and charged with public intoxication, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. The police car dash cam video posted online shows Mayfield trying to flee the officers, but they tackle him on the sidewalk.

Mayfield has since taken alcohol education classes and has become one of the best football players in college football. He is the likely winner for the Heisman Trophy, which will be awarded on Saturday.

It's good to see he has a good sense of humor about all of it now. But the Sooners will certainly be game planning for Smith, the Bulldogs' leading tackler with 113 total tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks. He's considered one of the top linebackers in the country.

But even with the tomfoolery from the fans, there's no bad blood between the two.
