The Georgia Bulldogs picked up a commitment from three-star defensive back Deandre Baker of Miami Northwestern Senior High School early Wednesday afternoon.

Baker confirmed his commitment by phone and then tweeted, "Officially verbal committed to The University of Georgia."

The 6-foot, 175-pound rising senior was selected to play in the 2015 Army All-America game, which tells you something of his skill set.

Baker makes the tenth commit for Georgia's class of 2015. Eight of those committed recruits will play on the defensive side of the ball, although athlete Terry Godwin will only do so his sophomore year.

Georgia wants to increase the size of its secondary in both stature and numbers, especially in light of the numerous dismissals and transfers the secondary suffered this offseason. Baker's commitment will help shore up a razor-thin defensive backfield.

In other breaking news reported first by 11Alive, Georgia cornerback Reggie Wilkerson is moving to safety. It was one year ago that he suffered a season ending ACL tear while going through summer workouts. Coaches expect him to be unrestricted by fall camp.
