Kirby Smart said on Sunday that running back Sony Michel should be healthy enough to play in the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day.

Michel, Georgia's second leading rusher, injured his left knee during the SEC Championship against Auburn. Georgia defeated Auburn 28-7.

"Everything looks good. He's fine. He's got a little bit of soreness in there that's bothering him. He should be good to go," Smart said.

Michel had 45 yards before he left the game. D'Andre Swift took over and had a 64-yard touchdown to help Georgia put the game away.

Georgia will play Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl, a College Football Playoff game, on New Year's Day.
