The state of Georgia has made it on the Olympic podium.

Georgia-native Elana Meyers Taylor has won her third Olympic medal in women’s two-man bobsled.

After the four runs, Meyers Taylor won the silver medal with a time of 3:22.52.

Germany took the gold with a time of 3:22.45 and Canada took home the bronze with a time of 3:22.89.

In all bobsled competitions, medals are awarded to the fastest aggregate times of all four runs not just the fastest individual run.

You can watch her run Wednesday night on NBC Primetime beginning at 8 p.m.

She is a two-time Olympic medalist in women's bobsled, winning bronze in Vancouver and silver in Sochi.

Meyers Taylor is one of three athletes from Georgia to compete in the XXIII Winter Games in South Korea. She, along with Chris Kinney, will both compete in bobsled while Meyers Taylor's husband is an alternate for the games. Nic Taylor will be ready to fill in for the men's bobsled team, if necessary.

The couple does not have a home since they travel frequently, but Meyers Taylor was raised in Douglasville, Georgia. Her father is Eddie Meyers, a former Navy football player who decided to forgo the NFL Draft to serve his country as a Marine. However, he spent six summers training with the Atlanta Falcons from 1982-87. Meyers Taylor's parents still reside in Georgia.

Her hometown of Douglasville held a watch party during her final two runs. Watch their reactions below:
