Here's what Yuzuru Hanyu does with all those Winnie the Pooh bears

The standout of his spectacular programs has definitely been the Winnie the Pooh aftermath.
Winnie the Pooh toys are thrown to Yuzuru Hanyu of Japan during the Men's Single Skating Short Program at Gangneung Ice Arena on February 16, 2018 in Gangneung, South Korea.

For the second night in a row, the ice was filled with Winnie the Pooh bears after Japanese figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu finished his spectacular program.

Hanyu's performance would be enough to win him another gold medal, making him the first male figure skater to repeat as Olympic champion since 1952. Hanyu won the gold medal in Sochi.

But the standout of his spectacular programs has been the aftermath. Seeing Winnie the Pooh fill the Gangneung Ice Arena is an entertaining sight.

It's something that started in 2010 after fans noticed the Japanese skater using a Winnie the Pooh tissue box.

So what does Hanyu do with the mountains of stuffed animals? He donates them.

According to NBC, Hanyu donates the bears to local charities wherever he's skating.

As everyone's favorite honey-loving, red-shirted bear famously said, "The smallest things take up the most room in your heart."
