Chloe Kim complains about being 'hangry' during gold medal runs

Tweeting seems to help Chloe Kim increase her score.

There seems to be some sort of correlation between Chloe Kim's Tweeting and her snowboarding scores.

Kim won the gold medal in the women's halfpipe on Monday. She had all but locked up the medal after her first of three runs.

Sometime between her first and third run, Kim complained that she was hungry to her nearly 100,000 Followers on Twitter.

"Wish I finished my breakfast sandwich, but my stubborn self decided not to and now I'm getting hangry," she said.

Soon after, Kim took a "victory lap" on the course after already clinching the gold. Her final run included back-to-back 1080s, and she finished with an astounding score of 98.25.

Kim did the same thing on Sunday night. She Tweeted in between her qualifying runs. That Tweet was also about food. She was craving some ice cream.

After Tweeting on Sunday, she improved her score. Tweeting seems to be her secret weapon.
