In May 2015, professional BMX rider Tyler Ferenegel performed stunts during Red Bull Revival as he made the abandoned stadium his own playground.

The Pontiac Silverdome was finally demolished on Monday at the second attempt after the first try failed to bring down the upper ring of the iconic Detroit stadium.

The former home of the Detroit Lions once held the honor of being the largest NFL stadium, while also hosting Super Bowl XVI and the NBA's Detroit Pistons.

For BMX fans, it holds a special place in their hearts because of Tyler Fernengel's fun 2015 project where he used the abandoned stadium as his own playground.
