The Georgia Bulldogs moved up one spot to No. 6 in the College Football Playoff Committee's latest rankings released on Tuesday.

Clemson moved up to No. 1, Auburn No. 2, Oklahoma No. 3 and Wisconsin No. 4. Alabama is No. 5.

The Bulldogs beat Georgia Tech on Saturday, and the top two teams in the nation both lost, allowing Georgia to move up.

Auburn beat former No. 1 Alabama 26-14 in the Iron Bowl on Saturday, and former No. 2 Miami was upset by Pitt 24-14 on Friday.

Georgia was No. 1 in the original College Football Playoff Committee rankings but then fell to No. 7 after getting crushed by the Tigers more than two weeks ago.

No. 6 Georgia and No. 2 Auburn meet in the SEC Championship on Saturday, and in all likelihood, the winner will earn a spot in the College Football Playoff.

The Committee's final rankings will be released on Sunday at noon.
