ATLANTA -- One person was hurt when a wrong-way driver's car crashed into another vehicle on Langford Parkway early Saturday morning between Greenbriar Parkway and Campbellton Road.

The Georgia Department of Transportation said the wreck happened just before 4 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the roadway.

Investigators said the at-fault driver tried to leave the scene of the accident on foot.

Atlanta Police later said the wrong-way driver failed a field sobriety test, leading officers to believe he could be under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody by police.
