An Atlanta police officer has been taken to a local hospital after being involved in a four-car accident, officials confirmed Monday.
According to Atlanta police spokesperson Stephanie Brown, the accident happened near the intersection of Lee Street SW and Donnelly Avenue SW.
The officer was taken to the hospital with complaints of neck and back pain as were two adults in the car that struck the officer's vehicle. A child in that car was also taken to the hospital for evaluation.
No information was released about the accident or who may have been at fault. Police didn't issue any citations.
