The National Transportation Safety Board has released information from an incident late last month involving a Delta Air Lines flight at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

According to the NTSB, Delta Flight 2196, a Boeing 737 from Indianapolis, was cleared to land on Runway 9-Right at about 11:06 am on Wednesday, November 29. Radar data indicates that within a mile of landing, the plane drifted left of its normal approach and ended up being lined up with a taxiway instead.

No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.

The plane ended up aborting the landing and going around instead of landing on the taxiway. The NTSB was notified the next day and began its investigation of the incident.
