Clouds have overtaken the area as low-level clouds rest in the metro area westward. A dense fog advisory in effect for several counties until 9 a.m. Monday.

Visibility is less than one quarter of a miles in some places. Low visibility can make travel difficult. If driving, slow down and use the low beam headlights and leave distance between you and other cars.

The fog could also be a problem for the thousands of travelers counting on flights in to and out of Atlanta to resume.

11Alive crews are on the roads near the airport and said it’s difficult to see the signs giving directions until you’re close on top of them.
