Starting this President's Day with fog and drizzle. Many areas will stay dry this afternoon. Temperatures will warm up to 74 in the Atlanta area. North and east of Atlanta, it will be a little cooler thanks to a northeasterly flow. Gainesville to the north and east will see highs holding in the 60s.

The rain chance is only at 30% Tuesday late afternoon and evening. Temperatures will still be warm with a high of 74.

We will watch the rain chance go up on Wednesday and Thursday. We are also monitoring the potential for some storms to develop. At this point, it doesn't look like a wide spread severe weather threat. However, over the next few days, we will be watching all of the ingredients needed to see if they come together to give us a severe risk. It will be warm on Wednesday and Thursday with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s.

The rain chance goes down to 30% on Friday with a high of 78. And guess what? Another weekend ahead with some rain chances. At this point, it doesn't look like a wash out, but we will have a 40% chance for some showers both Saturday and Sunday.
