This warm air mass is going to stick with us for a while. We will have near record warmth this week. We also have some moisture in place that will give us the chance for some off and on showers.

We will have more clouds than sun today. There is only a 30% chance for a shower to develop, more likely during the late afternoon. Temperatures will be warm. We are expecting a high of 75.

We are also monitoring the potential for some storms to develop. At this point, it doesn't look like there is a severe weather threat. We will have a few showers that may produce a little thunder and lightning, but no concerns for severe weather. Wednesday's and Thursday's rain chance is at 30%.

We may break record high temperatures this week. Wednesday's high of 76 would break the previous record of 75 set in 1976. Thursday's predicted high of 78 would break the previous record of 74 set in 2003. The rest of the week we may tie the record highs.

The rain chance goes down to 20% on Friday with a high of 79. And guess what? Another weekend ahead with some rain chances. At this point, it doesn't look like a wash out. We will have a 20% chance for some showers Saturday. The rain chance goes up to 50% on Sunday.
