We are tracking a cold front on the way. Ahead of the front, it will remain mild. Behind the front, it cools down a little. That cold front has some rain moving along with it. We are watching severe weather well out to the west. As the system moves eastward, it will encounter some more stable air. At this point, we don't expect widespread severe weather once it makes it to Georgia. We will have some pockets of moderate to heavy rain at times mainly during the evening hours. There is a chance for thunder and lightning, but the severe weather threat is low. Highs this afternoon will be in the 60s.

Skies will gradually clear out overnight. Sunshine returns for Tuesday. Temperatures will cool down behind this front, but it won't be frigid. We will feel temperatures move back to the mid 50s for highs. That's closer to what it should be this time of year.

We will remain dry for the rest of the work week with lows in the 30s and highs in the 50s. Our next rain chance moves in for the weekend.
