A cold front will bring rain and colder air into metro Atlanta. Expect showers and possible thunderstorms as the front pushes through the region. The front will also usher in much colder air. Temperatures in the early part of the day, ahead of the front, will be in the sixties. But temperatures will drop dramatically behind the front. Expect temperatures to be in the forties much of the afternoon with wind chills in the 30's by the evening.
Expect drier weather on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Showers are likely on Thursday. Right now it looks like both Christmas Eve and Christmas will be primarily dry with temperatures in the fifties.
