We had a lot of thawing during the day on Monday. High temperatures moved up to 61 degrees with plenty of sunshine. We will be able to continue the thawing out process even in the overnight hours. We won't go below freezing overnight. Lows by Tuesday morning will be around 39.
A cold front is on the way. That front is going to kick up our winds overnight and for much of the day Tuesday. We will have some wind gusts around 30mph. The sustained winds will be between 10-20mph. Many folks may have some trees or limbs that were damaged by the weight of heavy snow in some areas. This winds could blow around some of those damaged trees or limbs.
This front will also bring in a reinforcement of colder air. After highs in the low 60s on Monday, we will only top off in the upper 40s Tuesday. We will go below freezing again Wednesday morning with highs in the upper 20s. We will be in the upper 40s again Tuesday afternoon.
We warm up again Thursday with a high of 55. Another front pushes in on Friday. Moisture with this front is also very limited. We will have a 20% chance for a shower. We return to freezing Saturday morning with an afternoon high up to 53.
Another system brings in more rain chances late Sunday into Monday. Temperatures are warm enough for this precip to be rain.
