According to industry news site Deadline, a number of Georgia-based movie and television productions were forced to shut down production as a result of Tropical Storm Irma and Gov. Nathan Deal's state of emergency for the state.

Two of Marvel Studios' high-profile productions -- Ant-Man And The Wasp and Avengers 4, both in production at Pinewood Studios in Fayetteville -- were shuttered, according to Deadline. Both were hoping to resume production Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on the weather and recommendations from state officials.

The AMC cable blockbuster The Walking Dead, produced in Senoia, was also shuttered, as was AMC's upcoming drama Lodge 49.

CBS Studios has shut down production on three shows -- the upcoming CW shows Valor and Dynasty along with the CBS series MacGyver. 20th TV says it has suspended production on its series shooting in Georgia: Star and The Resident, along with the X-Men series The Gifted.

The upcoming Joel Edgerton-Nicole Kidman film Boy Erased suspended production, but hopes to resume on Tuesday.

The CW series The Originals and BET's The Quad also halted production, hoping to resume production later this week according to Deadline.
