Many of Hurricane Irma's evacuees who have been camping out at Atlanta Motor Speedway are wondering if they should find refuge somewhere else as the storm approaches the metro area.
The speedway, which is equipped to handle thousands of campers during its annual NASCAR weekend, opened both its RV and tent campgrounds to evacuees beginning this past Thursday.
11Alive's Jennifer Bellamy spoke with several Floridians who had been planning to ride out the storm at the speedway, but are now having concerns about Irma's strength, with winds of up to more than 60 miles per hour possible on Monday.
